BAC Eligibility
Bowerman Athletic Club is a USA Track and Field (USATF) member club. Membership is open to all USATF members of the Oregon Association.
Membership Checklist
1. USATF Membership
Athletes should register with USATF and designate "Bowerman Athletic Club" as their team affilitation.
2. Club Change Request
If you are transferring your USATF membership from another USATF club you can request a club change by contacting USATF-Oregon Executive Director Harry Simonis by completing this team transfer form.
3. Register for Association Championship
Register online for the USATF-Oregon Junior Olympic Championship at USATF-Oregon
Indicate that you are registering as a member of a scoring team. Select "Bowerman Athletic Club "A". Age-group coordinators will sort the Team "A" or Team "B" members based on seed times.
4. Notify Age-Group Coordinators
Contact the coordinator for your age group. Provide them with your athlete's name, birthdate, parent/gaurdian contact information, season best performance for the Junior Olympic race distance.

5. Uniform
BAC team uniform will be available at meets.
6. Advancement
At the conclusion of the Junior Olympic Association meet. The age-group coordinators will submit the team advancement roster with the top 8 BAC finishers designated as "BAC A" and the next 8 as "BAC B". Each individual of that team will also have to submit an individual application for the Regional meet.
